9EDGE is very proud to announce its “Visionary Sponsorship” to Club 21 in luie of the Club 21 annual spring benefit, being held on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Casa Vertigo in Los Angeles, California. Club 21 Learning and Resource Center’s Board of Directors is holding a “Tequila, Tacos and 21” adult evening event and fund raiser to benefit individuals with Down syndrome. Club 21 will also be honoring the National Charity League, Inc., Pasadena Chapter, whose commitment of time, talents and resources enables Club 21 to change the narrative of Down syndrome. Club 21 provides the educational tools and resources that enable individuals with Down syndrome to be fully included.
Julie Minck, Club 21 Benefit Committee head, remarked that, “Club 21 extends a special thank you to 9EDGE, as they rely on financial partnerships and generous donations like yours (9EDGE’s) to put our mission in action. With the support of Club 21, the children we serve will learn to reach and experience inclusion in typical classrooms, are better equipped for employment and will gain social skills necessary for meaningful relationships, and establish independence and access opportunities to be active members of their community.” Club 21’s goal is to raise $100,000 from this event that will directly support its programs which are currently at capacity.
